Ive been tryin to figure out why return to clock is not working, and I think I found a potential bug.

1. Make sure you have return to clock set to always

2. Now click on any app underneath

3. Notice how it shows 2 minutes in the text there instead of always

4. Change return to clock to 1hr and cone back to this menu

5. Notice how it now correctly shows 1hr in the text

6. Change return to clock back to always and notice how it again shows 2 minutes instead of always

Final words: is this like this by design or is this a bug? This explains why my watch doesnt return to clock even though I have it enabled. The only workaround Ive found to make my watch to return to clock is to disallow the app appearance on always-on-display.

And if I select custom then always, 2 minutes and 1hr appear correctly.

So looks like default option is bugged somehow.

It is probably because you were trying to use the full hour. Which watch are you using?

Im not using 1hr option, Im using always option which appears to be bugged when default is selected. Default sets return to clock to 2minutes, even though always is selected.

Im using AWU2.

I reported this to apple and I included this macrumors post. There has to be a bug, because if disallowing app on aod is the only solution to get return to clock to work.
