Is this a good 3d blu ray burner for AppleTV?

Pioneer BDR-207DBK

for 75 bucks seems pretty decent. I just want to convert my already blu ray movies so i can store them in my itunes movies for streaming.

What software do i need to be able to do that on a mac?

Can't comment on the drive, but software wise you'll need MakeMKV to rip the disk to MKV, then Handbrake to transcode it to an MP4 playable by iTunes.
