All 2011 15 inch MBP's are prone to the radeongate GPU issue there is currently a repair program that ends this month, the repairs often don't last very long with the same issue rearing its ugly head a few months later.

In short if you buy that computer it could well die within a few months and require a logic board replacement that will cost more than you paid for the machine.

So if you are looking for any sort of reliability or longevity for the machine I can't recommend you buy one.

In my personal opinion (plus experience) my favorite year has to be the Mid-2009 MBP. You can get these super cheap on eBay. Throw ya some upgraded RAM (4gb to 8gb) and an SSD and you will be very happy with performance. I currently own 3 Macs, 2 of which are 2014 and 2015. Although these a great machines, it's just something about that 2009 that makes me use it most. Hope this helps. I agree with everyone else though stay away from 2011.

peace.
