Is this a good deal for a 13"MBP?

Canadian. I just wanted to make sure it was the newest version first. Just to confirm, Intel's 3rd generation chips are the ivy bridge ones right?
 
Yup, that's a good deal!

Intel HD4000 and USB 3.0 weren't available on the previous models. This is the current gen.
 
Hello,

I am also going to try & get one of these for my son tomorrow @ Staples in Canada. I figure I can get the ram myself for under $100 & then have a pretty good machine with 16g of ram.

I also have a spare SSD @ home so if I get really crazy ill pop that in & see how things run.

The nice thing with these ones is the Ram is not soldered in like the air.

Good luck to you as we'll. Also I heard that staples doesn't actually carry them in store. You pay tomorrow and then they get back to you in 1 business day and let you know if they got one for you. I myself live in BC and the staples rep I smoke to told me he didn't know how many BC was getting
 
Just picked up one from our local Staples this morning. They had lots left here (Regina). Ill pick up the Ram & lunch & try to gently void the warranty tonight...LOL
 
Yea I'm just in line in staples Vancouver and the guy said they don't carry MacBooks in the store so i pay first then they ordered.

update--order one ,maybe monday or tuesday they'll call

Ya my girlfriend was in line there too. She said that some guy told her that staples Brentwood has 10, but there was a long line. Hopefully you both get yours Monday or tuesday
