I just looked at the link and notice that I just bought a MMD case for 45 on eBay. I wish I saw this deal

From the seller:
It's still available. I've had a few inquiries at this point so I'm
going to have it at a yard sale tomorrow at {address edited out}
starting at 8AM if you'd like to look it over. If you can't make it
and it's still available afterwards I'll let you know.

It comes with the keyboard, mouse, and the video adapter that lets
you connect a standard monitor cable to it, and the power cable. I've
got a CD which says "Power Mac G4 Software Install and Restore" which
I found in my CD pile. It's probably what you need until 10.5 is
released later this year.

No serious cosmetic blemishes but it was used every day for a few
years so it doesn't look quite pristine.

I'll check it out tomorrow morning. Any in particular I should look for? How much do these normally sell for?

EDIT: Reason I'm asking is cause I can't find an equivalent machine on eBay...

It's possible that the person just doesn't know how to price or what it's worth.

I once bought a "broken powerbook" off Craigslist for $25 - it was a TiBook 550 Mhz beaten to hell, and found that, inside, it had an Airport Card, 1 Gig of Ram, a 40 Gig Hard Drive, and a more-or-less new battery.

feels fishy, that machine, if new and working fine, should cost more than $550

well...although some of you say this sounds fishy, I am buying a Titanium PowerBook G4 1 GHZ w/ 512 MB RAM and an 80GB HD for 30 bucks from a friend...

I upgrade all of my friends' Macs (they buy the parts, I install) and I put the 80GB in their, and he paid me 20 bucks and the drive was 100...(hes not a very good business man...he is 14, I'm 15 (lets just say I can bargain, he started at $250)

So although he [the buyer of the Pmac G4] doesn't know the seller, it doesn't mean he can't be getting an awesome deal...

I didn't think friends tried to rip each other off. It sounds like you are just taking advantage of him. But I don't know his situation and yours, but from your post it seems pretty unfair.

Yeah, I suppose I made it sound that way...it really isn't. First of all, we aren't really friends, we talk to eachother...but it isn't like we hang out or stuf...

He just got a new MacBook, and this TiBook was his older brothers, before it was his...he is desperate for money and he just wants to get rid of it...I am not even sure of the condition it is in...he says sometimes the display will just turn off, so who knows?
