Is this a good deal for Retina Macbook Pro 13"?

Wanted to get everyone's opinion. Currently being offered a 13" retina for 1100. 2.5ghz, 8gb, 256ssd model. Comes with everything except the magsafe extension power cable. What do you think?

If that includes AppleCare or you can still get AppleCare, I think it's a good deal. I wouldn't personally want to own a laptop without AppleCare.

For comparison, a refurb from Apple is $1,359, and and then AppleCare would be another $249, so $1,100 is over $500 less if it includes AppleCare.

Now this thread is in keeping with all other threads that mention AppleCare - there's a 50/50 split on whether it's worth it

Sorry forgot to mention, its only 3 months old still eligible for applecare. Apple sells this same model for over 1800 with taxes brand new. The same model goes refurb with these specs for 1439 plus tax. so saving roughly 700$ off new and 400$ off refurb.

It's a 2012 not a 2013 most likely so it is not $1800 new, more like $1500 new on Amazon. Ok price but not great.
