I just ordered a pre owned Grade 8/10 Macbook Pro 13.3 2.4ghz 4gb ram 160gb for a total of about $500 (firesale). The model number on my shipment confirmation is supposedly MC374LL/A. But when I search up this model it shows up as a 250gb hard drive. Is this a good deal I am getting? Does anyone know what model this macbook pro may be and when it was released?

Bit wimpy CPU, no warranty, weak graphics, replaced hard drive.

If you're okay with DIY upgrades and a compromise in performance, go for it. It will be enough for your daily activities.

so you're saying its a replaced hard drive? was there ever a model with hard drive space?

I don't think so, 250GB was the minimum. So it must be a user-replaced drive.

i see... I ordered it pre owned from Best Buy's cowboom. Do you think putting an SSD in there will dramatically increase performance? I am not really looking for much, i just need a good laptop to type my college apps/essays.
