MacBook Notebook, Intel Core Duo Processor, 2GHz, 512MB RAM, 80GB Hard Drive, 13.3-inch WXGA TFT Display, 4X DVD+/-RW SuperDrive, Mac OS X Tiger v10.4, Black

Price: $999.98

There are several in stock on the nearest store. Or should I just buy a refurbished macbook c2d? Comments?

Apple currently doesn't have any refurb MacBooks on their site so if that is a new, unopened black MacBook, it seems like a good deal to me. Go for it, I've got that same one with 2 gigs of RAM and I love it.

It is brand new unopened blackbook.

looks like a good deal to me. just make sure you add more RAM and it'll be a perfect machine.

It's the same price for a Blackbook CD refurb from Apple but you said it is brand new so that makes it a good deal.

As pianoman already stated, 512 will not be enough, get at least 1GB.

Thank you...All reply seems positive, so I might just go and get it then.

Is it not cheaper to buy it with upgraded ram from the apple store?

Maybe the english prices are getting stuck in my head?!

Damn it...I missed the deal...Oh well, guess I just have to wait...
