I have an offer on the table for the following system:

- Dual 2ghz G5 processors (L2 Cache, 512kb per CPU)
- 2gb of RAM (bus speed 1ghz)
- ATI Radeon 9600 128mb video card
- 150gb hard drive
- Apple 20" widescreen LCD monitor (perfect condition)
- Dual monitor support
- Reads and writes CD's and DVD's
- Keyboard and optical mouse included
- Everything is cleaned and ready to go!

The seller wants 800 local, so no shipping... I am thinking between the monitor and the computer itself its worth it.. what are you thoughts..

If that is the newer style of ACD then this deal is worth it. Even if you find you want another machine later on you should be able to part this thing out for a good chunk of your money back.

its def the new style display.. I think I am going to purchase it.. anything I should look for when I check the machine out?

Things you should do before buying it:

  • Quick once-over, aesthetic-wise.
  • :apple: -> About this Mac
  • Check insides, for aesthetics, and anything missing (unlikely)
  • Check the monitor for dead pixels (allow a few, I would anyway...)
  • Make sure all cables etc are included
  • Make sure original stuff is there, or at least most of it
  • Make sure the keyboard and mouse are OK
  • Do a quick performance test if possible (not needed, but advised)
  • Get the s/n off of 'about this mac' and then do a checkup on apples serial to spec website
