12' Powerbook with 40gb HD, 1Ghz processor, 1.25 gb of ram for $250? any advice or comments would be appreciated thank you

Do you absolutely need it? Cause, I really think you should stray away from buying old technology now-a-days.

Not terrible, pending condition.

It would be worth your money to get an Intel Mac for Snow Leopard capabilities though, but as a netbook, the PBG4 isn't bad.

Yeah, but it's the 12" - ah, glory days of the uber-portable Mac :D

But, you can pick up a dell mini 9 for $199 when they rotate on sale and hackintosh that for the same money...

that's a very good deal
i've had one of those, used it heavily for 7-8 yrs. they're great computers. you can upgrade the HD yourself pretty easily, and you've got a nice computer
1 ghz is the alu, not the titanium, right?

It all depend on the condition. Some of the older 12" Powerbooks sell for $500+, but it all depends on condition because those computers are notorious for how their cases are.

They never made a 12" titanium PowerBook, so my bet is that it is aluminum :D

Ah the memories of my 866 mhz 12" PB. Reminiscing now...

But as much as I loved that computer, I wouldn't pay for it now.
