I'm about to meet up with a CL seller but I found another deal.
Need to know if this one is worth it.

15' Macbook Pro - Great condition with minor scratches on the bottom of the machine.

Spec:
Mid-2009 unibody (right before the update, so it has the old slot not SD)
2.8GHZ Dual Core Processor 4Gig Ram 500Gig
With everything (box, cables, etc.)

$1100 But they are giving it to me for $1000

OR

13.3 inch mid 2009
2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
250 GB Hard Drive, 8x DVD/CD SuperDrive, 4GB DDR3 RAM
13.3 inch LED-backlit display, 1280-by-800 resolution
NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256 MB of shared memory
Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard Operating System
Processor, Memory, and Motherboard
Processor: 2.4 hertz
Memory Slots: 2
Hard Drive
Size: 250 GB

He said he bought it 3 months ago, perfect condition.

$850 (includes incase sleeve and bag)

the 2009 mbp13 does not have a nv 320m that was introduced just this year. it has a *much* lesser videocard. i would get a new mbp13 for 999 instead. the 15 might be better but scratched? mmm not me.

I only have $1000 cash And I'm coming from a 17 mbp that I had to sell to make rent so I'm left with $1000 to work with. I'd like to get a new 13 but then there's tax and then having to upgrade the memory (I maxed out 320) I'm I'm very limited right now. Hmmm

Idk. He said he bought it from apple 3 months ago but I pulled his serial number and it's listed mid-2009 so i think he's lying?

must be a mistake since 2009 models didn't have the 320M IGP

those specs sound exactly like my 13" 2010

So assuming that the 13" is really the 09 with the older graphics which would be better for the price? The 15" or this 13"?
I know I gaining more HD space and screen size and a bigger speed bump, what would you guys do?

unless you want a 15" screen, I'd go for the 13" especially if it's in excellent condition

Ah he just emailed me said he made an mistake. The 13" is a 2.26 GHz
Hard Drive 160GB 5,400RPM Serial ATA Hard Drive
So is it still worth it over the 15" 2.8 GHz? Or is it to old?

is the 15" c2d? would be good if the condition is decent

Sadly the 15" 2.8 seller was mistaken and listed it at a 500gb when having checking it out, I discovered it was actually a 320gb. She felt stupid.
I eventually talked her down to $970 so I could use the extra $30 to buy SL...

So I'm now a owner of a Mid-2009 15" 2.8 Ghz 320 GB in actually great condition besides the bottom was a little scruffed for only $970!!

Did I do good? Or will I be kicking myself in the a** later?
