Are iomega drives reliable? I'm really scared about a random failure and want to make sure i get a good reliable hard drive. thanks!

I don't know about this particular model, but all of the iomega drives I've had have been reliable workhorses. One of the external iomega drives for the Mac has been a Macworld pick of the month for more than a year running.

$80 really isn't that much to lose. Iomega has a good name, and if the price is right for you, then go for it.

I believe they have a 12% off printable coupon for Best Buy. Try that, maybe you can get a name like Western Digital or Maxtor. They are always fantastic for any drive.
