$1,200 for a used Black Macbook. Perfect condition, comes with a case, 2.5 years of warranty left.

2.2 ghz SR
160GB HDD
2.5 year warranty.

Are you buying or selling?

First step is to ping the Apple refurb price on the same machine.

Refurbished MacBook 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - White
13.3-inch glossy widescreen display
2GB memory
160GB hard drive
8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Built-in iSight camera
Original price: $1,299.00
Your price: $1,099.00

So the Apple unit with 1 year warranty and a faster CPU is $100 cheaper.

While the used unit is slower, has an (unspecified) case and 1.5 years more warranty.

That puts the used unit a little high, in my book

That price sounds pretty good if the computer is in mint condition, but might be a little bit high if not (but otherwise I think that the price is a pretty good find figuring it includes Apple Care).

$100 more for a 2.4, larger harddrive

Hmm, the only problem is that on the refurb I have to pay Tax as well.
I think that you will be all set with the computer that you found, I would see if there is any way for you to get the price slightly lower, if it is a personal deal, rather than online or something. I would try to get it lowered by $50-$100, it just seems a little bit overpriced compared to models that Apple is selling, but then again, it appears that this user purchased Apple Care for the MacBook, which would make the price pretty good, just make sure that the Apple Care still counts for you after a resale. I am not positive that it will, but maybe another user can bring light to this topic.

Are you sure you are getting Applecare? If you are, and the 4gb, I cant imagine you finding a better deal for a 2.2 Blackbook.

Yeah, I am sure, I checked the serial from a photo off it off the actual blackbook. It says Applecare ends in November 2010. It has 4GB of RAM and here is what it comes with:

- OS X 10.5.1
- Upgraded RAM: 4 GB
- 160 GB Hard drive
- Waterfield Designs Sleeve
- Leather Screen Protector
- AppleCare Warranty (2 1/2 Years remaining)
- Original Box Packing Material

Alright awesome, I will be buying it on Friday unless anyone has any reason why I shouldn't :):D
