I have someone who wants to buy my used Retina Macbook pro for $1000 USD.
It's the Late 2012 model with 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD, and 13'" model in mint condition with Apple Care+.

Am I getting a good price for it? Or can I get better?

You may be able to get $1100 for it without any problem, possibly even $1200 for it (will be harder though).

$1000 is not a bad price, but is on the lower end of acceptable cash offers. If you want to get rid of it, I see no problem selling at that price. But if you hold out, you should be able to get $1100 without much waiting.

Totally up to you.
