Shipping from the US for $3,407.74 (£1,743.16) to the UK, this:

2.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
MacBook Pro 17-inch High-Resolution Widescreen Display 1920 x 1200 pixels
200GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
2GB 667 DDR2 - 2x1GB SO-DIMMs

etc. etc.

Is that a good price? Bought from Amazon, has yet to be dispatched.

Very good. Amazon USA ships electronic goods internationally? I wonder how they have the 2.6GHz model in stock as well, tho it's a BTO option but I might be wrong.

The seller seems to ship it internationally, and has prices for doing so.

Ahhhhh, I thought you were buying from Amazon directly. I hope you won't be charged for import duty and VAT when it arrives. By all means it's a great machine and you're getting it at a very low price. :)

I've never dealt with Amazon before, so let's hope I don't get scammed or charged the VAT...
