Is this a good time to buy new 13" MBA?

They upgraded the line up like 4 months ago, yes, it's a good time to buy one.

I feel like a new design should be coming with the next model considering if not, this will be 5 models that have used that same design. 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014.

I don't think how they could improve the 'design', it's perfect for me. Perhaps a different color (dark grey like the iPhone 5S would suit me) and a hi-res display (retina?) but that's not really changing the design.

I bought one 3 weeks ago and it's a wonderful machine.
What would you like to see different then ?

the form factor is indeed very good. but the screen and bezel really need an update.

that is for me the most important reason not to buy a mba today.

And I'm not seeing I need a retina air. Everything in between is ok for me

This Air design is getting a bit long in the tooth, it's actually quite bulky in the X<>Y plane with the huge bezels, plus there's a lot of new tech coming out next year:
- IGZO screen
- DDR-4 memory
- Thunderbolt II

And hopefully 802.11ac that actually works... there's over 1/4 million views on the Apple support forum on this issue!
