On the iPhone 5, with all software updates, my album artwork doesn't display correctly in the lockscreen. There is a black bar above the album art, separating it from the bar with the time and currently playing track.

This is on all albums, songs and in both the default Music app and Spotify.

haven't had this problem pop up, but I'm using iTunes Match, also.

Not exactly. On the iPhone 5, the album art doesn't look the same on the lock screen because the aspect ratio on the phone is different....

I'm referring to the OP's post about the black bar. The black bar is the same on both phones. Just different sizes. The underpinning artwork is the same.

The black bar at the top.

I think you're looking at a different black bar. I'm talking about the space directly on top of the album art.

It's a known bug. Apple had already addressed it in iOS 6.1 beta. You can look up the iOS 6.1 beta 1 thread where they show this problem has been corrected. :)
