VoiceOver and Speech activated?

Have you accidentally activated the VoiceOver features of OS X? There's a keyboard shortcut for it. You can turn it off from System Preferences from the Speech and Universal Access menus (or just search for VoiceOver and Speech in the System Preferences spotlight window, it will direct you to it.)

This VoiceOver feature is supposed to do what you describe is happening, helpful if you want it but scarey and uncertain if you're unsure what it is and why it's happening suddenly. As I said most likely cause was an accidental keyboard shortcut.

nope, not a Virus, I believe someone is pulling a prank on you, go under system preferences> speech> text to speech
also check your startup items
Does anyone else have access to your computer, do you have sharing enabled?
