Im buying this MBP on C/L and how come i don't see the Nvidia 9600M listed?
He even gave me the serial number to check and it's a mid 2009 model
Is this a MBP 15 mid 2009?

The base model 15" from '09 didn't come with a 9600m, only a 9400m.
I support this. It was identical to the high end 13" model but in a larger body.

This is Mid-2009 and the lowest bottom line of 15" MacBook Pro.
13" has 2 default configurations, 15" has 3 and 17" has only one.
The one you are showing is the lowest out of the 3 in 15" line.
I'll say not worth it the 9400M is really crap.
I had a friend with that MacBook Pro. She was trying run some intensive applications on web or rendering. It lags really bad. Compare to my other friend with the 9400M + 9600M GT (2nd of 3 in 15" line).
9600M GT is a good card I have to say but not 9400M

The 9400m is an okay card if your going to do minimal gaming or none at all. It will handle cod4, as well as age of empires or similar games. Its not a terrible card, but compared to whats in todays new systems, it is starting to be fairly sluggish.
