When you plug your iPhone into iTunes and the summary screen shows up, the software version, serial number, and phone number sections are clickable....click software version to show the build number, click serial number to show the identifier (what is the identifier by the way?), and click phone number to show IMEI and ICCID....

sorry if this is old or anything

This has always been there. The "identifier" is a unique ID that lets developers use ad hoc distribution to distribute applications to only certain devices. Not sure why they couldn't have just used serial number or IMEI for that, but oh well.
