On my old dual-USB iBook, when I eject a mounted flash drive its disk activity light stops blinking. When I do so on my iMac G5 (Rev B, got a refurb 2.0 for $1299 
the activity light keeps blinking even after unmounting. That doesn't seem right, and I'm scared that data hasn't been properly synced to the drive because the activity light is blinking when I remove it.
