I am looking for a LaCie eSATA ExpressCard, and I found this:

http://www.techonweb.com/products/productdetail.aspx?id=A00GTW&src=FG

It comes from a store named Techonweb.com. They are selling it $10+/- cheaper than LaCie does. I have never dealt with them, but I looked at its ratings on resellerratings.com, and it looked Kosher. It wasn't until I looked at BBB did I realize the company is not accredited by them.

So, should I trust them?

The first place you should go when considering dealing with a company you're unfamiliar with is ResellerRatings. Techonweb has a pretty darn good rating there with over 900 lifetime ratings, so you should be fine.

Now, i guess this would be the ultimate question: is eSATA something that is beneficial for a Mac User?

There is a very small speed benefit of eSATA vs. Firewire 800. The main reason to get an eSATA interface is if you need external drives AND your Firewire controller is likely to be saturated with another device, like a Firewire audio interface or importing DV video. Then, having the drives on a separate controller can be an advantage.
