Is this an Apple Music fluke?

For the past few days, I have been using my MBP to listen to my Apple Music via iTunes list. I have been noticing that the music isn't as clear or crisp when I am using the internet. When I stop using the internet (Safari browser only) things seem to go back to being fine, why is this. It's weird.

I have an iHome portable speaker that I use with Apple Music. If that helps.

As a theory, I moved my speaker away from my MBP, that seems to take away the static sound in most of my Apple Music on my iTunes list. Every once in awhile, I have to play with the equalizer settings to get the song not to have the static. As of right now, that theory is working.
