Is this an iOS 8 issue? Embedded video clips...

If I'm on a web site that has a video clip ( as example, a Facebook clip ), it is now very hard to get it to play.
I have to repeatedly press the play arrow, again and again. It then may ( or may not ) reluctantly decide to play.

Any ideas.
