Is this an iPad2?

I do not have one or seen them in person so I can't say for sure, but is President Obama carrying an iPad 2 in this picture?

This picture was taken on Sunday, after a 9-hole round of golf - he was on his way to oversee the Bin Laden raid. Curious to know the role the iPad2 plays in his life if it is one.
 
At the very least that is a Smart Cover for the iPad 2. So I would guess he indeed has an iPad 2.
 
Yes, and looks like he got the Polyurethane Smart Cover.
Even the freaking President of USA thinks the Leather one is unreasonably expensive.

- Angry Birds, because it teaches strategy and patience.
- Find My iPhone, this is how they found Osama (someone leaked Bin Laden's Apple ID)
- Safari, so that as soon as they killed Osama he would have quick access to the web so that he can update is facebook status.
- and Netflicks, but thats just for Entertainment.

The remark is jumping to conclusion.

For one thing, hypothetically, the president can think that the grey colour is the nicest and that one doesn't come in leather. Or, he thinks that the polyurethane version is more durable. Or, he prefers non-leathered goods.

All of these are possible explanations...which means there are so many other explanations we can't say the president thinks the leather version is unreaonsably expensive.

Being not just an iPad user, but ALS an android phone user, I can say, from experience, that the UI on iOS sucks, compared to android.
I love the available apps on the iPad, but miss widgets and an app drawer.

And let's face it, Safari is one of the worst browsers on the market. Internet Explorere being the worst.

Why is it,that the 2 most popular OS makers, have the most abysmal web browsers?

Really, Google Chrome is the Shiz.

YES, IT IS. How the heck does he get one & my aunt has to wait 4 weeks :D

I'm okay with it knowing I got mine before he got his. :apple:

It is an iPad 2, but I'm guessing not a regular one. Probably has a few extra security tweaks like his BlackBerry (which from what I remember was specially made for him)
