I have a late 2009 27-inch iMac with 2.66 Quad i5 with 8GB of RAM. It also has an HD 4850 graphics card. I mostly use it for gaming, word processing, web browsing, and light photo editing.
My problem is this: I'm not sure if the 21-inch high-end iMac I'm looking to buy now is a real upgrade from my old 27-inch. Will the NVIDIA graphics card in the new 21-inchers perform better than my 4850?
I am also pondering a Mac mini, and am wondering if the Intel integrated graphics card is better than my current one. I can't seem to find benchmarks anywhere.
So real noob question but yeah. Thanks in advance!
