Has any one used or tested this application

Just read on the internet that some guy was able to retrieve his laptop after it was stolen, the software installed in it was able to take pics and send it to him
Any reviews are greatly appreciated
thanks

I read the article, post on yahoo and the post in MacRumors. Apparently it works just as Find my Device in MobileMe subscriptions with the ability to take snap shots. My question is does it work if someone erases the HD and partitions a new drive. Can you also see what people write, as in the article the guy logging into his G-mail account can he see his pw, etc which would be nice to fk over the person trying to fk you over. Also apparently something like this will be in OS X Lion, read this somewhere can't remember where and no idea if it's true, just wanted to mention it.

I am concerbed about the hard drive swipe too
should be good if any one gives insight review for this

Physical security is key. Keep your eyes and hands on your machine.

If the information on the drive is sensitive, use encryption.

Buy insurance.

That was quite obviously an advert for the product. :p

Honestly, if someone gets hold of your MBP, they don't even have to turn it on once before wiping the drive entirely. So applications like that are easily bypassed.
