Hey all

Long story short, I had a very nasty fall with my bicycle because my chain snapped. Everything I had with me got wrecked, including my Apple Watch. I was wondering if it's fixable, and if it is, would it be worth it or am I better of buying a new one? I would have to replace both the screen and the casing. One of the cables connecting the screen also seem to have snapped? I'm not very good with these things and would like to have your opinion.

If it's not fixable, do you think it still has a resale value for parts or is it just ready to be thrown in the trash?

I've added some pictures. Not for sensitive viewers though, it hurts to see an Apple watch like this lol.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if you have a first generation Watch or Series 1/2, but it would likely cost you more to repair the watch than it would to replace it. Especially being if one of the cables is damaged as you noted. I'm also assuming you don't have AppleCare.

It's a series 2. Yeah I don't have AppleCare. I didn't think I'd need it.. would this have been covered by AppleCare?

I guess I'll just trash it and get me a new one.. Poor Apple watch!
