Looks like a bug in the reporting of numbers in coconut battery.

Unless of course the battery is swelling/bulging.

The kid asked me for some help because his battery has been randomly going dead, so I told him to get CoconutBattery and that's what came up.

Randomly going dead, I'd suggest that they calibrate their battery.

If that doesn't help contact apple.

The problem has nothing to do with the battery. The problem is that coconutBattery doesn't work in Leopard. Ignore all numbers it gives you, they are random meaningless numbers.

The problem has everything to do with the battery.

Coconut battery was merely used as a diagnostic tool to try and solve the original issue.

i don't know about you, but i checked and coconut battery gives me the exact same numbers as system profiler does.
