Hi,

I just bought an AW SE and I was wondering if the battery usage is good as I think it's draining a bit too fast.
Today I used it from 8AM, did one hour workout and stopped using it at 8PM.
Background refresh app is disabled, Hey siri disabled as well.

My AW Series 4 has 86% battery health and the battery lasts kind of the same amount of time as the new SE. I find it very weird.

I’m shocked your 4 still has that much battery left. I still use my 4 and it’s often down To 30% or so by bedtime. I think if you’re getting all-day battery life I wouldn’t worry about it.

I know! I am amazed by my series 4. It raised my standards when it comes to AW batteries.

don't make battery judgements on a brand new device, give it a week or two.

Not sure if it's doing extra work in the background, we're unconsciously playing with the new toy a bit more, the battery needs some exercise to get to full capacity, the watch needs a few cycles to calibrate itself, or some combo of those; but new devices, and sometimes a new OS typically report lower battery life the first couple weeks. There's also a chance the battery actually has more of a charge than it says, it's just not being reported correctly yet.

Interesting. Ok I will wait a little more time. Thanks!
