What's up with that charging screen ?
My Late 2013 rMBP 15" running 10.10.3 does not display it. Maybe I missed a checkbox or something ?

I think it looks kinda cool. :)

Well, the MB has no indicator lights anywhere, not even on the cord. So it would appear this is what you get to let you know battery and charging status.

Oh, well. It look's great. Too bad it only for the rMB :)

Nah, we have to discover how to get this on every mac. Critical! I'm putting my best men on it now...you.
 
I have this line too : defaults write com.apple.PowerChime ChimeOnAllHardware -bool true

It's for the chime when you connect the power

If you can figure a way to make the charging screen work on the Retina Macbook Pro too that would be great.
