Is this considered a high-end 15" Macbook Pro?

Model MD322LL/A is listed for what seems to be a great price at Microcenter. I realize it is a late 2011 model but it still seems very powerful for it's age. The price is also very good, almost too good to be true at $1399 with the 1GB 6770M and 750GB drive. Was it really $2199 in September/October of last year when it was released? I have never gotten a 15" Macbook due to the price but I can do this if it truly is a good high-end Mac deal?

Could be wrong but I think high end would include the following:

15.4-inch LED-backlit Hi-Res antiglare widescreen display, 1680-by-1050

As opposed to the model you referenced:

15.4-Inch LED-backlit Display, 1440-by-900 Native Resolution

I have one on order for store pickup tomorrow. It seems to go for nearly $1750 at other reputable online retailers so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. It will more than fit my needs and finally an owner of a NON 13" MBP!! LOL

Its a good deal. Personally...I prefer the HR AG screen over the standard glossy, so I went with this one instead.

I saw that one too but it's over my $1500 limit. Nice price though because I see it going for around $19XX.00 online. I think I will have a look at the Hi-Res AG at the store but I'm not sure I can squeeze the extra $$.
