Im on craigslist looking for iphones and come across this guy selling his white 64gb factory unlocked 4s in excellent condition for 550. Is it really worth that much? I really want a white 4s but idk if its worth THAT much.

thats a little steep IMO. on craigslist here. $400 is the average for a locked one. 64gb. ive seen them as low as $350 too.

dont worry about it being unlocked... you can buy and unlock for $10-15 bucks

I recently ditched my iPhone 5 to go back to the iPhone 4S. If you go to the Gazelle Store on eBay, you'll find the 64GB iPhone for AT&T at only $429. That's what I bought mine for, and it was in mint condition.

Don't know if you can unlock these iPhones (I'm assuming you can because they're out of contract now that they've been sold).

Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/gazelle-store/m.html

I asked him why is the price so high and he said its because its in really good condition and he bought it at the apple store when it first came out and paid $850.

lololol tell him "ok let me get into my delorean and travel back a year...then that will be valid"

I have another offer. A 16gb white 4s with charger, box, case for 380. I might go for that one

What it's worth, what you'll pay, and what he'll sell it for are three different things. ;)

I recently sold my white 16 GB 4S on Craigslist for $330, which was at the lower end of what was out there. I wanted to make a quick sale and not dance around with a lot of shoppers. Some sellers want to hold out for top dollar.

Consider that in Canada, the 16gb 4S goes for $550 brand new and unlocked from Apple. It's up to you whether some wear and tear makes up for more storage, but there are certainly better deals out there.

Then don't buy it, I'm not sure I see what the issue here is.

I sold my 16gig ATT locked 4s last week for $300. And it had a small scuff on the plastic part that holds the glass.
