I have an intel Macbook, bought it 3 years ago.

Today I was using my computer and had it on my knees and noticed that when I shifted to move further back on my seat the screen would flicker on and off, I freaked out because this has never happened. The computer did not shut off like it was restarting all that went black as the screen. I started played with the screen and if I push it too far back, it shuts off but if I shift it back a bit it goes back on. Also, if you have it on your knees and you shake your knees the screen flickers on and off?

any ideas what is going on? or the damage this is going to do on my pockets (I wish I could afford a new one but I cant)
