It's extremely expensive, but I'm wondering if this is legit? How did they get an unlocked 3g iPhone, and how can they legally sell them? Also what about when Apple sends out an update, do you now have a 1200 dollar paper weight?

some countries have to sell them unlocked. you can upgrade with no worries if they are unlocked from the factory.

Well I was talking about the prices for the unlocked 3G will drop too. Because anyone will be able to unlock it themselves . But yes the latter will happen too unfortunately for those who still have 1st gen iphones waiting to be sold.
