IMessage hasnt been working for me. It says 'waiting for activation' for about a day, then says it was unsuccessful. Ive heard people say a full restore in DFU mode fixes it. So I tried that, then restored from a recent backup to get all stuff back, which didn't work... So what chance is there that restoring the iPhone in DFU mode and then restoring it as a new iPhone will solve the problem? I dont want to do it unless I have to, because setting everything up from scratch will be a pain.....

1.Restore as new
2.See if iMessage is fixed. If it does, right-click the iPhone icon on iTunes and restore from the previous backup.
3. ??????
4. PROFIT!
