Processor:Two 2.66GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors

Memory:1GB (2 x 512MB) of 667MHz DDR2 Fully-buffered DIMM ECC

PCI Express Graphics:Nvidia GeForce 7300GT 256MB single-link DVI/Dual-link DVI

Hard disk drive 250GB Serial ATA (3Gb/s); 7200 rpm; 8Mb cache

Optical Drive:16x SuperDrive with double-layer support (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)

Include 3years of Apple Care and View Sonic 20"

Would this be worth $1600? I'm not too familiar with Mac Pros but this offer seems pretty decent..

In terms of Mac Pro pricing, yes. In terms of desktop power pricing, thats negotiable. But yes, its a good deal for what you're buying compared to the market.

Nope not at all. Tell me where I can find that deal though ;)

Basically it's the stock 2.66 system with Applecare and a 20" Viewsonic thrown in.

In terms of Mac Pro pricing, it seems good. The base system new is still $2499, and that system as an Apple refurb is $2199. Neither of those have 3 years of Applecare.

Unless there is something wrong with it....sounds like a good deal to me. How much Applecare is left?
