Hi, I'm looking into purchasing a new iMac and in my search around i found a 3.4, core i7, 27-inch iMac (from October 2012) refurbished. It has the 1TB fusion drive which i was also looking for. But, it only has 8 gigs of RAM. I was looking to get 16. Online, it says the iMac has 4 RAM slots, two of them unoccupied. So, would I be able to purchase this mac as well as the RAM linked below, then install it myself?

The iMac I'm looking at..

Thanks for the help. I need to confirm this so i can decide between this or a newer 21" 3.1, core i7 with all same other features.

Yes, that RAM that you linked is fine.
The 2012 iMac 27-inch has 4 memory slots.
Maximum is 4 x 8GB, for a total of 32GB possible.

The installation is easy - there's a simple access panel on the back.
You can do it in less than a minute.
