Obviously there's no way to tell for certain, but do you guys think this Air is stolen? $700 is a pretty big discount for something never opened. He claims to have the receipt from Best Buy. Anyway to know for sure? Want to jump on this if it's legit

No idea, but it is an older model, and its a base model, so it MAY be legit. Still be cautious.

I know if your in NYC they have a special unit in the PD that's just for Apple device theft. Get the serial number verify it on the receipt and apples web site
