Hello, this might be a stupid question, but is this DDR3 1333 memory (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820159028) compatible with the new early 2011 MBP's? I just ordered my new MBP with 4 gigs of RAM and was wondering if this is the right memory to upgrade it with if I buy two sticks.

Thanks,
HotFieryTech

Great question. I was looking at that exact set for my new 13" i7 which I picked up yesterday. Whenever I have your question, I usually head over to ramjet to see what kits they offer and then make sure it matches the specs of newegg RAM.

Newegg doesnt say that the AllComponents ram is unbuffered, but pretty much all ram is I believe, except special expensive server stuff that I'm not sure anyone uses anymore. The only thing I am hesitant about is the quality of their stuff, which I have not owned before. Some companies used to stack less expensive wafers on top of eachother, which is cheap, creates more heat, and consumers more power. I suspect that nobody in the DDR3-1333 manufacturing world can get away with that though, so it will probably be good. Limited lifetime warranty is always a plus.

Thanks guys for the advice and fast responses! I think I will be getting this memory then. The reviews on newegg are consistently positive, so I think I will trust it.
