I went to go see my girlfriend today and she lives about an hour and a half away. I canceled all of my plans with my friends because I really wanted to see her. I spent like $30 on gas and like $75 on dinner and I bought her an ipod nano 3 weeks ago for her b-day. On my way back, she dumped me over the phone. I was so pissed! After 7 months! And I wasted my entire day!

I can't imagine that the situation feels very good at all, but at the same time...

At least it was "only" that long. Trust me, once you get into longer relationships, it really isn't fun when it ends. :)

She probably didn't have the courage to break up with him in person, so she goes and does it over the phone after he spends all that money on her. The damn wench.

It does suck.
Do you have anything of hers?? You could start breaking things and send them piece by piece back in envelopes, always fun :D

Or better yet, you could break her herself and send pieces of her to her mother. :D

Im getting over it quickly. Ive pretty much already found someone else. I just wish she broke up with me before I spent $100. I was pissed when it happened but theres no point living in the past.

Wow, less than 12 hours later? Damn, you move quick!

i was about to say the same thing... you obviously were not that hung up on her so why worry about it? if $100.00 is a lot of money to you, it would be wise to think twice about spending it on someone that you didn't care so much about. ;)

i don t know what or how the whole situation was but it seems " easy come, easy go" NOT always a bad thing not always a good one either...

best revenge is getting over her, finding someone better, then when she sees you with another girl she'll feel jealous and you'll be happy.

i recall a VW Touareg commercial where a guy drives by his ex's place in his Touareg and she's like ..."looks like you're doing well for yourself." The guy smiles nods and then drives away. Pimp. albeit yuppy pimp.
