is this my network speed ?

is this the right place to see my network connection speed? iv never seen it go past 130 or below.

our pcs are at 270

That's your peak network speed. The only way to get the actual bandwidth (that I know of) is to test it with data transfers. Unfortunately, OS X doesn't come with iftop, which is a great way to measure bandwidth, but I'm sure there are GUI options out there anyways.
