I's this new in 2.2?

I think this is a new feature in the iPhone 2.2 software that nobody has come across of and I think it could be useful. It is a new behavior of the keyboard and I cant really explain it so here is a video on how it works and what it is.

That's not even on 2.2! When you're in safari in the video you have the old 'look'. Now the Google bar doesn't show that way.

Anyway, I've had that before 2.0. It just pops up when you have other languages for the keyboard. For use with Spanish characters like:

Is out before 2.2, i noticed because i am from PR and i struggle with accentuation and that is how you use it.

I you notice in the video first is the 2.1 and you can see that after holding down other characters on the keyboard and dragging to "I" that the extra characters wont show up. Now in the 2.2 you can do the same but the characters will show up.

He shows a difference between 2.1 and 2.2 and you and others say it's been there for several releases, then how do you explain what was shown?

The point is not holding and showing the extra characters, but being able to show the extra characters by "dragging" to the letter and holding. In 2.1, shown with the old google search bar, it fails to show the extra letters, while in 2.2 it works. Unless I'm missing something?
