If you play music in your iPod, there's now an option to "like" and "post" the song that's now playing in your iPod, the your Ping account. This may be old.

I have only just noticed this today as well... I have never spotted it before and use the iPod app on my iPhone every day... wtf??

You might not have Ping on...

This was an option at least as far back as 4.2.1 (for me)

Ah gotcha. I have Ping on my iTunes enabled. But not on the phone. Where's that hiding at?

This was a new "Feature" in iOS 4.3, not 4.3.3.
