I have a macbook pro and it seemed to be heating up. I made an appointment and the folks at the apple store ran a diagnosis on my hardware. Everything checked out green, but its still hot. I downloaded Fan Control and noticed that it says that the Left Fan is 2077 RPM, the Right Fan says -1 RPM - shouldn't the right fan also have activity?

Thanks in advance!

It was actually much hotter, so they suggested I do a clean install of Lion, which seems to have helped the problem somewhat, but I am concerned that the Right Fan doesn't have any activity.

Great techs if they missed the fan not working part. You should take it back and have them look at the fan. Or open the case and see if the fan is indeed malfunctioning or if your sensor or software is not working accurately. You need to do one or the other cause you can severely damage your Mac if a fan is not working.
