Hi.

So far I think I have a perfect phone. No weird yellow dots or lines or dead pixels etc,
However I just noticed that if I have like a white wallpaper, and I go swipe from screen 2 to screen 1, My iPhone flicker for like .01 second just one time. It doesn't happen if say I was in page 10 then I click on the home button. Only if I swipe from page 2 to 1. I dont think I can see it if I put a dark wallpaper. Is this normal ? Thanks

Note. I tried this on 4.0. And 4.0.1 software and the same thing

This is normal.

From the first home screen, swipe to the left (to Spotlight Search).

You'll notice the screen dimming.

What you're experiencing is the phone starting to dim the screen for the search page (but you stop before it loads).

Weird. I dont think this used to happen in my 3GS .

I have noticed this 'flicker' too! I realize that it is the beginning of the spotlight screen.. But I don't remember my 3G ever looking like that. It must me more sensitive, or something and it definitely looks buggy!

Well. If it's a software problem the. Its ok. I can swallow it. I just don't want it a hardware problem. Software can be fixed. Hardware means I have to send and get a worst iPhone with dead pixel etc etc
