Is this Normal?

I try to upgrade to 4.1 today and Itune display its cannot be update due to server temporary unavailable, I though my host file still with cydia so I go ahead and change it back to apple server, and still display iphone cannot be restore.
Finally I try tinyUmbrella kick out recovery mode, now my phone with 4.1 and 1.59 baseband, is that normal? did tinyumbrella did some trick?
I did fix proximity sensor on my btw

Yes, thats what usually happens if you got your hosts edited or TU running while you restore/update an iphone 4 to official firmware.
It will restore everything but wont touch the baseband and thats why it gives you the error message cause the BB didnt match the firmware it updated to and had to kick it out of recovery.
