I have an iPad mini with Retina and an iPhone 6 - all running on iOS 8.

When I place a call on my iPad or even answer the incoming calls from my iPad, the phone resprings. However it doesn't affect the calls on my iPad.

Is this normal?

So it's not normal. Figures.

I also found out Instant Hotspot doesn't work as well. I can set a personal hotspot manually though which isn't special.

I have iOS 8 GM on iPad and iOS 8 preinstalled on my 6. Has this got to do with it?

I don't like these bugs. Never experienced non functional stuff on iOS before.

Wow okay. So I got instant hotspot working. Without resetting the devices. Pretty sweet.

I'm just a bit upset with my phone re springing when I answer or place a call on my iPad. And it won't get off that Apple logo screen until I end the call.
