i got a 16gb ipod touch about a week ago, and tried to jailbreak it today with ZiPhone.
after getting the bsm error, i put the ipod in recovery mode, and went to restore it in itunes. while attempting to restore, the ipod went over the screen with the white words again, and loaded with the installer on the home screen.
none of it was working until i went to "uninstall" in the installer and reinstalled the installer package.
it seemed to be working fine, and let me install the metronome and the ZIPcodes packages, but now it keeps going back to the "slide to unlock" page, and none of the packages will install.
is there any way to fix this without restoring?
