Please give your advice, I don't want to comment seriously on this but it's just not a great look imo.

Why should Netflix bother spending the time, money, and dedicated resources to supporting an OS that doesn't even garner 3% market share. Assume that maybe 10-20% of that number would actually sign up for Netflix, the company would only make about $1000 extra.. A year! LOL

Crackberry posters: the "Why doesn't anyone like our phone?" generation.

That's just fanboyism there.

I got an iPhone because its so broadly supported. You'd have to be pretty dense to be surprised a device with such a small market share is treated as such.

Spotify has no plans for BB10 either.

These BB owners go on and on about business and their phones not being a toy. Why do they even care then? Get a phone that can do both or be happy with your BB that can't do crap. :)

Until people start buying the devices in question in any large number to make a significant dent in the market, companies supplying apps and support are not going to invest. Consumers should do research and buy the devices that are best supported, or sacrifice the small things they want.

I guess it has it's place in sending a message to Netflix.

The impact of that message is questionable however.

I did personally do a similar thing with LoveFilm in the UK as it was incompatible with my Windows Phone and Android devices.

We now have Netflix andy family can use it on whichever device that pleases them now.

You should comment seriously on it. That's the point of a discussion. You asking if it is pathetic suggests you probably think that it is.

I don't think it's pathetic. I agree that Netflix shouldn't waste time on an OS that doesn't have a huge following, but this just looks like a typical internet temper tantrum.

That is how I feel. I wonder how many people (of the already small BB market) have netflix? It won't make an ounce of difference.

I agree! I seriously doubt I'll see a long line of "business men" at the Red Box outside of McDonald's now.

It's also silly to get rid of a service you like because your phone isn't supported. Obviously this depends on the particular persons usage but I got Netflix for their blu rays and streaming to my PS3. I rarely use it on my phone. So if they dropped iPhone support I wouldn't drop them.

Also why drop Netflix anyway. What's the alternative they are supporting in its place? It's only hurting them.

Does BB10 have hbo, max and showtime streaming services? (I don't know).

What's definitely pathetic were the people bullying their friends into cancelling too, and setting up brand new accounts just to cancel them.

Not pathetic.

They have a message they want to send and they're sending it. That's a good thing. We shouldn't discourage them from this sort of thing.

I'm sure the amount of money Netflix would have to invest just to get out a BB10 app would not be made back, as BB has such a small market share, and most people with a BB wouldn't be using it for Netflix.
Go and buy an Xbox or Roku or ATV and hook it up to your TV and watch Netflix at home.
You shouldn't be watching Netflix on the job anyway ;)

All in a tizzy because they can't stream movies to a device that just came out about 5 minutes ago and has an almost non-existent user base?

There's sad....and then there's Crackberry.
